Simply "drop" your 3 way syinge into the top and it will automatically land in the correct position for immediate use. No need to look for the opening or to manually feed the syringe tip through. The extra length covers the dental tubing that is subject to spray contamination while it rests on your patient's chest. The tapered tip design reduces the volume of material under your thumb resulting in better tactile control.
