In 1991 when we were developing our product line, we sought advice from the experts – the CDA’s, Hygienists and Dentists who look after patients every day. We asked “How can we do better?” And these busy professionals were kind enough to share their insights with us:

• They wanted barrier covers that were easier to use – less “fussy”. They wanted to be able to apply and remove the covers quickly and easily.
• They wanted the barrier covers to stay in place while in use – they explained that when barrier covers slipped, they had to take extra time to clean and disinfect the exposed surface even though they had used a barrier cover – a waste of both time & money.
• They were proud of their operatories and didn’t like the way loose or poorly fitting barrier covers detracted from their professional image.
• Some offices have limited storage space, so wall mounted dispensers were not an option.
• They wanted single dose dispensing – so they could quickly pick up “just one” cover at a time.

And we listened:

• All our barrier covers are carefully packaged for easy single dose dispensing – right up to our large 30” x 30” Patient Chair Covers that are individually folded and carefully packed in small boxes – no wall mounting required.
• We created some of the most functional designs in the industry… for example, Light Handle Covers that can be applied in 2 seconds and removed in a fraction of a second – and which stay securely in place while in use regardless of how many adjustments are made to the light handle; Syringe and Tubing Sleeves that allow you to quickly “drop” a 3 way syringe into the sleeve so that it automatically lands in the correct position for immediate use.
• We provided choice: 3 sizes of Patient Chair Covers; 5 sizes / shapes / tip finishes of Syringe Covers, 4 sizes / tip finishes of Tubing Covers; 2 styles of Light Handle Covers, and a collection of barrier products for more unique applications such as the Patient Chair Arm Rest, the Assistant Chair, the Plaster Trap and more.
• Many of our barrier covers have contoured shapes for a clean, tailored appearance.
• All our Barrier Covers are made in our own Canadian facility just outside of Toronto, Ontario using only premium materials so that we can maintain strict quality control throughout our manufacturing process.
